Volunteers are an established and
integral part of the work of Right from the Start.
Inviting people from the community into our organisation ensures
that we have the community’s support and input into our activities.
Volunteering provides benefits which are above and beyond those supplied
by the statutory services, and which improve the quality of peoples’
lives.
Without the involvement of volunteers Right from the Start
would not be able to provide the range of services and activities.
Volunteers are actively
encouraged to engage in external training
offered to RFTS. In addition, all volunteers who are placed
with
families are expected to attend the Recognising Abuse and
Neglect Course
and the First Aid Course offered through Caerphilly County
Borough Council.
