Kidz Club

Welcome to our Kidz Club Page!

We’re the RFTS Kidz Club who meet every 2 weeks at the Community House.

There are 6 members in the Kidz Club – Jack, Alice, Sam, Kiesha, Brooklyn and Britney
and we all aged between 5 and 11 years!

We have been very busy lately. We all worked very hard for the RFTS Open Day, we had our own table. We told people about our group and all the work we do like, children’s rights and gave out lots of information to adults and children, even the babies.

Lots of people were very interested in what we do, some asked if they could come and visit us at Kidz Club to learn more. We have a new way of voting now, we vote with our feet! We have already voted on what food we want at the group and are waiting for feedback.

Children’s Rights !!!

In our Kidz Club we learn all about The rights of children. There are lots and lots
but here are just some of them that we think are most important to us:

We have the right to be treated equally, the same as everyone else.
We have the right to speak up for ourselves.
We have the right to say no.
We have the right to our own opinions and ideas.
We have the right to choose our own religion even if it’s different to everyone else’s and our family.
We have the right of our own privacy.
We have the right to go to school and receive a full education.
We have the right to receive services from the public health services.
We have the right to play.
We have the right to owning our own name for our own identity.
We have the right to be protected.
We have the right to rest and sleep.
We have the right to a balanced and nutritious diet.
We have the right to make new friends and socialise.
We have the right to find out about things and not kept in the dark about thing’s that concern us.
We play lots of games and take part in many activities all to do with the Right’s of children.
